In principle, all businesses in the districts should be registered in the records of the local government. Business owners can register their businesses (one business at a time) online and to so do, the owner should follow the below procedure.

How to apply for Business Licensing

They include:

• Login or register an account as an applicant
• From your dashboard select new business registration. Fill out the application form and submit it. The technical officers at the district will review the application.
• After approval, an invoice will be generated and a notification for payment shall be sent via SMS or email. Open the invoice from your dashboard and select Pay Now.
• Upon successful payment, the application will proceed to the Director of Trade for approval/revert.
• Download and print your business registration certificate.
